Kayaking the Chagres River & San Lorenzo

Our kayaking is the ultimate in tranquility! Join us in Kayaking
the lower Chagres River and embark on a voyage with Mother Nature.
Experience a true Tropical Rainforest at a leisurely pace that will
allow us to quietly go with the current and perchance come upon
unique jungle birds, monkeys, sloths, and maritime life surrounded
by tropical flora and fauna. And a visit to the Historical Castle
of San Lorenzo Tour includes a brief pass thru Colon, From there
we go to Fort Sherman and on to the mouth of the Chagres below Fort
San Lorenzo.

Historical
Portobelo Country Side & Kayaking Tour
Tour will include tour of the Colon City and head on down to Portobello.
There will be a guided walking tour around the town visiting the
Church of the Black Christ, the Aduana (Customs House), Fort San
Geronimo, Santiago de Gloria and stop in at some of the local artesenia
shops. This will be followed by kayaking the group for approximately
1 1/2 hours in the bay visiting the historic fortifications of San
Fernando and San Fernandito- a snack and cold bottled water will
be provided. Lunch will be provided.

Fishing Charter on the Panama Canal and Lake
Gatun
1⁄2 day tour
Take a trip along the canal and into Lake Gatun. The lake was created
as part of the canal and provides superb fishing for Peacock Bass
or ‘Sargento,’ and many other fish as well as great
views of the surrounding forested hills. Tour includes fishing poles,
bait, cooler, and boxed lunch.

Camino de Cruces Trail
The 8-mile Camino de Cruces Trail takes visitors through 4,000 hectares
of primarily tropical forest that connect the Metropolitan and the
Soberania National Parks. Freshwater birds can be seen by the ponds
located at the start of Chiva Chiva Road. Follow the road and discover
a variety of birds, flora and fauna. The Camino de Cruces Trail
was originally used in the 16th and 17th centuries by Spanish plunderers
to haul gold from Peru by mule across the Isthmus of Panama on its
way to Spain. This trail was also used as a path for fortune seekers
transiting the Isthmus during the 1849-1950 California Gold Rush.
